This album was meant to come out back in 2007, and If I am correct was rumoured to be a collaboration with Pete Rock. If my sources are accurate, Pete Rock had nothing to do with this looking at the individual producers. Maybe that release may come another day.
Anyway, I'm a fan of Tha DPG, and while they may not create great albums from front to back, there are always some bangas on their albums. This one has quite a few tracks to keep you going back, and while there are of course some wack tracks also, I think the quality is higher than their last two releases, which felt more like compilations.
As usual, with the subject matter you know what you will be getting with Daz and Kurupt, but the production handled by Daz, Ivan Johnson & Soopafly, on the best tracks (listed below), are nice west coast vibey beats. Worth checking out for the best tunes. A high 3/5
