B.o.B has spent the last few years being hated for espousing conspiracy theories, including flat Earth theory. However, I would like to state the controversial opinion that he wasn't that good to begin with. Sure, this album is an interesting mashup of genres. B.o.B. has a good flow and a good singing voice. However, these songs do not flow together well at all. At one point the album goes from this tough guy proto-trap sound on Bet I to a straight up boring pop song with Ghost in the Machine. Not to mention, some of these genres just flat out do not work for B.o.B. Especially the proto-trap song and acoustic pop song Lovelier Than You. Also, there are so many songs on here that just feel insincere. B.o.B. wasn't even famous yet, and he's already whining about the pressures of stardom? Why? The song The Kids is also really insincere. It's the most watered-down song about life in the ghetto I've ever heard. That said, I did enjoy the song Magic, if only because I'm a pop punk fan.
