Chingy

Chingy has been harshly rated as a rapper his entire career. He has always had an enjoyable flow with a unique voice, and some dope production behind him. This is another more than decent project. 'Can't Blame Me' feels like some of the best moments he had on his first two albums with its bouncy production plus a catchy hook. 'ALL CAPP' falls into the same category without being as strong. 'She Do It' is the only poor moment on the EP. The chorus sounds like something Soulja Boy wrote. Twista helps the song, but can't save it. 'DAT GOOD' is a decent slow jamz/pop rap song. The strengths of the project are 'Do Ya Thing' and 'Eurrthang'. It's a shame that 'Do Ya Thing' has a terrible feature though. Why does anyone like the mumbling, depressive, garbage delivery that T Hood brings? Only one bad feature and one bad song make this EP worth a listen if you like Chingy on the microphone.
