T-Rock

T-Rock dropped four of these songs about two weeks before this dropped that wet the appetite. Two in particular, with 'My Everything' and 'Yeen Gotta Like Me', made me anticipate this heavily as I played them on repeat. The former is a religiously themed song that feels like something from 'The Kairos Album' and the latter is T-Rock at his hard-hitting best. His flow on it reminds me a little of Kendrick at times. Elsewhere, T-Rock borrows from Pac's 'Me and My Girlfriend' on 'Whirlwind' - "It's like the weed is my girlfriend." The opener is a dope dark song with great rapping from Rock and Odd-1. 'Got Real' matches that theme as well. 'Fuck Y'all Too' is the weakest moment but nothing among these nine songs will let a T-Rock fan down.
