KRS-One

In his mid-50s KRS is still a commanding MC. The beats are unique making the album feel somewhat fresh compared to much of what we hear elsewhere and maintain a similar sound throughout the album making it feel like a cohesive project. It loses some steam in the middle with 'Club Pippa' and 'Wet It Up' being less likeable than the songs beforehand. An enjoyable release.
