Musically/Instrumentally, Kae has continued to progress, as this offers more to enjoy than much of Kae's earlier work. Tracks like 'Know Yourself' and 'Prayers to Whisper' have strong, memorable moments, and the overall structure leans more towards traditional songcraft rather than the spoken word style of previous releases. That said, I preferred Kae’s vocals pre-transition, and the lyrical content here doesn't quite reach the depth of earlier material. A track like 'Europe Is Lost' still hits harder than much of an album focused on identity, which feels less relatable and less compelling by comparison.
