I really enjoyed one of my first hip hop records I ever heard titled 'Paid Tha Cost to Be Da Bo$$', so I looked forward to this and bought it close to it being released. Upon hearing it though, I was fairly disappointed as it is so different to his previous album and what I'd heard from his other albums. It did grow on me but was never as good as I hoped it to be. It was nice though to see Snoop not making the same album twice I guess. Track for track, this album is fairly hit or miss. You have some great soulfully produced tracks such as the 'Intro, 'Ups and Downs' and 'Lets Get Blown' but then you have a lot of boring songs in between. The beats on tracks like 'Can I Get a Flicc Witchu' and 'The Bidness' ain't my thing and the album never really gets on a roll with a string of good tracks. In saying that, there are some harder tracks like Lil Jon's 'Step Yo Game Up' and 'Oh No' that get the head banging. Overall, it is Snoop's poppiest album for sure-beaten in 2008 though by 'Ego Trippin'- and while there is quality present, the skip button always gets a work out when I play this album. Best Tracks: Intro, Ups and Downs, Drop It Like It's Hot, Lets Get Blown, Step Yo Game Up, Oh No, Pass It Pass It
