Firstly, Funkmaster Flex is annoying as the host of this. He always has been irritating. I mean, listen to him at the end of 'Rogue One'... Here's to a non-Flex version dropping. Secondly, while at 71 minutes, this isn't the longest album in the world, and I think the time flies by fairly quickly, was there a need for some of the skits that stop the momentum of the good music? Not in my opinion.
Those two issues aside, this is a consistently body of work with lots of great songs. After listening a number of times though, it does feel like there are more featuring artists than there actually are, that perhaps suggests Logic is outshined at times. In saying that though, he seems to be giving some a spotlight, and when he spits on solo songs like 'BLACKWHITEBOY' he is dope as he is on a lot of this. One of the best rap albums of the year so far even with the bugbears.
