Bucky Allen, the owner of Bucky's Ocean Grill has arranged a shark derby. He does it just so that he can gain publicity. In order to try and make the derby more successful, Bucky sends two brothers, Roy and Matt, down to the bottom of the ocean to plant a device that attracts sharks. The water becomes full of sharks and even more sharks arrive, when the entrants start traveling back and forth on the water. Cort and Eddie enters the derby. Thorpe and Hobie are also in the derby.At the beach, Jill is forced to make a daring rescue, when a shark approaches some kids in a raft. She manages to rescue all the kids, but when she has brought the final one to Shauni at the Baywatch boat, the great white shark attacks Jill and drags her away. Mitch is too far away from her and can't rescue her.Later, while Jill recovers at the hospital, Cort and Mitch go down in a shark cage and hope to record something under the surface.
