Taking a look at the video game $1 Ride. I gotta start off by saying this game is horrible. The graphics are mediocre, the soundtrack is not very good. The game play is just as bad. To start there are 3 lanes that you can switch between. Your ship starts out with just enough speed to get to the first boost. There are multiple things you can pick up like health, boosts, points and then there are slows and BIG slows. Basically if you don't grab a boost almost anytime you will lose. The ship doesn't keep its momentum for very long, barely a line sometimes. Don't even get me started on big slows. If you hit one of those it is almost instant game over. Yes, just hitting one ends your game. The gameplay might be fun for the first 10 minutes. Anything after that becomes very monotonous and just keeps getting worse as you play it. The only plus side is that the game has steam trading cards. So you can make back some of that dollar you wasted on this game. I give it a 1/10. It is barely a game. Just do yourself a favor and never buy this game.
