This was hated on by many, and I can understand why for a game that was 14 years in the making, but at the same time could anything live up to that? The graphics are fine but are not by any means pushing the envelope, and it doesn't offer much new in the gameplay department. However, it's a fairly enjoyable FPS, and as you'd expect from Duke has some humor that normally hits the mark. Worth checking out if you like FPSs.
