Gene Simmons Greatest Dumbest Lyrics
Gene Simmons has to be one of the most fascinating figures in rock history, and he's arrogant enough to let you know about it to your face. Despite his fellow mates' tantrums it was Mean Gene who unabashedly ego tripped and tongue-spewed his bass-thumpin' platforms 'round the world - talent be damned. And it was him who came up with these lyrical *gems* below - a list of 10, some would say, questionable lines culled from The Demon's songs on the classic 74-79 KISS run of records….
"I thought about the back door
I didn't know what to say, yeah"
"Just call me a three time loser"
"I command you to kneel before the…"
"As long as you can play the role"
"I'll teach you love a different way"
"The first step of the cure is a kiss!"
"I'm listenin' for your scream"
"A token of my love for her collection"
"See you, feel you in your dreams tonight"
Two versions of this "classic" were cut. One version made the Rock And Roll Over record, and the second made Gene's loony solo LP.
