For six years Dr. Raymond A. Moody, Jr. interviewed hundreds of men and women who have gone through what is known as "clinical death" and been revived. Their accounts of what it is like to die -- and more important, what happens at that moment -- are startling, remarkable, revealing and faith-supporting. "Life After Life" was first published as a straight-forward report on Dr. Moody's studies. But so strong was its appeal that the book quickly became one of the most talked about nationwide best sellers in years. In its pages you will find the astounding true experiences of ordinary people who have stood on the threshold of death and come back changed forever. You will thrill to the remarkable string of common elements that are found in so many of their stories: The experience of being out of the body, traveling through a dark tunnel then feeling great peace and tranquility... and most amazing of all, encountering a brilliant being of light whose very presence brings feelings of indescribable love and comfort. "Reflections On Life After Life" presents additional evidence Dr. Moody has uncovered, plus new material developed as a result of the excitement and discussion generated by "Life After Life". In this surprising sequel, you will find even more remarkable testimony by people who have come back from the edge of death. Together, these two extraordinary books have a profound effect on the way millions regard the promise of eternal life, bringing new understanding to those who doubt and affirmation of faith to those who believe.
I read this book in a little under nine hours over a span of four days. It was an interesting book, although I was already aware of most of the phenomena that's discussed in it.
