A group of friends facing mid-life crises head to the rainforest with the intention of remaking their favorite movie from their youth, only to find themselves in a fight for their lives against natural disasters, giant snakes and violent criminals.
Not a bad film, even if the premise isn’t especially exciting. It delivers a few solid comedic moments and a couple of small surprises along the way. Cube’s and Jennifer’s cameos are welcome touches. It’s not the kind of movie that’ll stick with you for long, but as a light, disposable watch, it does the job. 2.5–3/5.
