Megan is an all-American girl. A cheerleader. She has a boyfriend. But Megan doesn't like kissing her boyfriend very much. And she's pretty touchy with her cheerleader friends. Her conservative parents worry that she must be a lesbian and send her off to "sexual redirection" school, where she must, with other lesbians and gays learn how to be straight.
If you knew the premise before watching, this movie goes pretty much exactly the way you'd expect it to, leaning heavily on camp, exaggeration and visual irony to make its point. That predictability is a strength and a limitation. The satire is clear and funny enough at times, but rarely surprising and means the movie does drag on with its predictability.
And how'd the line, "I could care less", get left in the movie?
