The brain of a male engineer is transplanted into a female's body. He soon finds it very frustrating to cope with the daily sexist discrimination most women deal with. For example, he is surprised when no one will hire a female engineer. When he is faced with dealing with female sexuality, he quickly begins exhibiting lesbian tendencies.
[Spoilers] Some of the reviews I've seen of this film... "He learnt nothing from it"... He clearly learnt how hard it was to be a woman and the advantages he had being a man in his line of work. He actually calls his old boss a male chauvinist for one. Maybe he wasn't about to march down the streets for women's rights, but to say he learnt nothing from being in a female's body is wrong. "Terrible ending"...For me the ending worked. Being preyed upon by men and then getting rapped and dying in the escape was the grim punctuation mark on the message this movie was trying to send about sexism and the differences between the genders. It also worked because it was unexpected. "Offended by it as a transgender". Surprise, surprise... Enough said. I watched the dubbed version and the first thing that caught my attention was that the doctor's/mad scientists' name was Adolf/Adolfo in the non-dubbed. It almost fits into the Nazi exploitation genre because of this. It isn't the most exciting movie, but has original elements and was entertaining enough for a decent rating. Closer to a 3 than a 2 out of 5 for me.
