Description
Live at the Beacon Theater is the fourth full-length comedy special/concert film by comedian Louis C.K., filmed at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan, NY. In contrast to his previous specials, which had been produced for broadcast and sale on physical media, 'Live at the Beacon Theater' was sold directly from C.K.'s website for $5.00 USD for download/stream. As stated in the end credits, the special was dedicated to comedian Patrice O'Neal, who died two weeks prior to its release. C.K. considered O'Neal one of his favorite comedians. The special won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music, or Comedy Special and received 3 other nominations.
