For the most part I enjoyed this. I thought the pacing was decent, (moving along nicely), the comedy worked to a decent enough level for a superhero film, Ezra fits the role, all of the call backs to previous heroes was an engaging addition, and it has some relatable sentimentally (Gypsy Rose aside, we all love our mums). However, it fell into a bit of a hole towards the end. The main fight and the scenes around it dragged on, it's fought in an environment that isn't the least bit visually appealing and to me reeked of laziness from the film producers who didn't want to have any background to CGI. And while I'm on CGI, there is again too much of it. The Batman sequence at the beginning being one of the main offenders. It's so much more engrossing when it looks real. When will they learn this and stop cutting corners? Both of these complaints are ones I have made for previous DC movies too. Apart from that, discounting any plot holes that always come with time travel movies, it didn't feel like a 2hr 30 film.
