Joshua Vallow was born on May 25, 2012 in Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, USA. He died on September 23, 2019 in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, USA.
17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow disappeared in September 2019. In June 2020, their bodies were discovered buried in shallow graves in the territory of Chad Daybell.
JJ was found strangled with a thick layer of duct tape across his mouth and a plastic bag over his head. He was still wearing his red pajamas. Tiley was partially eaten by an animal, and her pelvis was severed with a sharp instrument before her corpse was burned. Her remains had decomposed so badly that an autopsy could not be performed to determine the cause of death.
