Raised in Baton Rouge, LA, with a last name that rhymes with bayou, Molly Mayeux began her production career at the ripe age of 18 working as a production assistant and camera operator for a local television station. Realizing production and story as her passion, Molly attended film school at Southern Methodist University where her senior thesis film, "The Contract" garnered numerous awards including most outstanding student in radio, television and film. Shortly after graduation, Molly headed to Hollywood where she quickly rose through the production ranks working closely with leading filmmakers from Steven Spielberg to the Farrelly brothers. Since then, Molly has produced over 20 feature films and has built a record of quality. Molly is actively involved in all aspects of the entertainment business (script development, financing, production, marketing, distribution) through her company, Dahlia Street Motion Pictures, which is committed to quality content produced on modest budget levels. Known for Batman Forever, Dumb and Dumber, and Kingpin. She was an assistant director for those three films.
