Joshua Jay (born December 9, 1995), known professionally as Sixteen Bit Fun, is an American electronic music producer and DJ from Millsboro, Delaware. Taking his name from the 1988 Alesis HR 16-bit drum machine, Sixteen Bit Fun uses synthesizers and drum machines to create a unique mix of Dark Electronic music, Chiptune sounds, Electro Funk and Industrial music that pushes the sound and feel of electronic video game music into cinematic territory. Inspired by the 16-bit electronic sounds of the classic Streets of Rage (Official Game Soundtrack), produced by YUZO KOSHIRO, the Industrial Electronic Dance Music grooves on Human After All by legendary French electronic music group, Daft Punk, and the robotic melodic Electronic style and sequenced rhythms of the iconic German electronic band, Kraftwerk, on their album Trans-Europe Express (2009 Remaster), Sixteen Bit Fun has created a unique 16-bit Electronic music style using both the Alesis HR-16 and the 909 drum machines. From classic Four-on-the-floor Techno dance grooves and Synthpop keyboard melodies, to Electro-Industrial beats and atmospheric Dark Ambient sounds, Sixteen Bit Fun is on a mission to show how creative and powerful the Video Game Music genre can be.

Joshua Jay (born December 9, 1995), known professionally as Sixteen Bit Fun, is an American video game music producer from Millsboro, Delaware. Known for his bright and colorful, Anime inspired aesthetic and his melodic retro electronic sound, Sixteen Bit Fun uses synthesizers and drum machines to create a unique mix of 80s Electropop melodies, 16-bit chiptune sounds, and 90s Electronic Dance Music that captures the classic sound and feel of 90s era video games. Inspired by the electronic sounds of the classic Streets of Rage game soundtrack, produced by Yuzo Koshiro, and the melodies of legendary French electronic music duo, Daft Punk, Sixteen Bit Fun has built his own sound on the foundation of the 909 drum machine, just like many of the electronic music producers in the 1990s. The robotic drum machine beats are the perfect match for the catchy, radio friendly, TOP 40 Pop music synth melodies that Sixteen Bit Fun has become known for. From classic Four-on-the-floor rhythms and Dream Pop keyboard melodies, to Electro-Industrial beats and Electro House bangers, Sixteen Bit Fun is on a mission to show how creative and powerful the Video Game Music genre can be.
