One of the people our production team met in Louisiana was Jane Patton. Her family has been in New Orleans for five generations, and her love for the city runs deep. Jane is the campaign manager for plastics and petrochemicals at the Center for International and Environmental Law. Jane is the lead author on a report, published in 2021, which documented health, safety and labor violations by Formosa Plastics – the company trying to build The Sunshine Project in St. James Parish.
