Sedley Alley was executed by the state of Tennessee in 2006 for the brutal rape and murder of Corporal Suzanne Collins. Years later, a new suspect in Suzanne's murder is brought to the attention of the Innocence Project, bringing into question Sedley's guilt. With the help of Stephen Ross Johnson and the Innocence Project, Sedley's daughter April Alley is fighting to find out the truth about her father, but the state of Tennessee refuses to test the crime scene DNA.
