Clyde Gibson's killing spree finally ended in 2012, after his sister found the mutilated body of a family friend in Gibson's garage. According to Gibson, he killed at least 33 people beginning at the age of 25 and up until his capture at the age of 54. Gibson frequented seedy southern Indiana bars and lured female victims into stolen vehicles, killed them by strangulation or stabbing, sexually assaulted each victim post-mortem, then mutilated and dumped their bodies into the Ohio River. Gibson kept sexual body parts as souvenirs and for continued use for sexual gratification, and even had a severed breast in the glove compartment of a victim's van when he was arrested. Gibson has been convicted of 3 murders and is serving two life sentences, plus 65 years on Indiana's death row.In this episode, Phil accomplishes his goal and extracts a confession from Clyde Gibson of a cold case murder. After the victim's sister is informed, she confronts Clyde in an emotional phone call.
