Tae-suk is a quiet drifter who tapes restaurant fliers on front doors for money. He drives by the previous days doors to see which fliers remain up and then breaks in to one of those empty homes. He squats in a home for a night, cleans or repairs items as gratitude, and then moves on to the next. One such house turns out not to be entirely empty. Inside is Sun-hwa, an abused wife just as quiet as Tae-suk is. After a confrontation with Sun-hwa's abruptly returning abuser, the two silent strangers escape together on Tae-suk's motorcycle.
