“goodbye” is the final track on Billie Eilish’s debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?. At one minute and fifty-nine seconds, it’s also the shortest on the album, behind only “!!!!!!!”, which is thirteen seconds.
The lyrics are a culmination of each track featured on the album.
In an interview with PopBuzz, Eilish confirmed that the final three song titles on the album are intended to form a sentence, beginning with “listen before i go”, then “i love you”, ending on “goodbye”.
