At first glance, Bernd Bauermann's life looks normal: He is happily married to his wife Katja, has a smart son named Max, lives in a terraced house owned by Bernd's parents Frieda and Gunther and he has a decent job at the Mannheim bank. But in reality everything is very different: His wife Katja is a real witch who doesn't always have her magical powers under control and thus causes a lot of chaos. However, Bernd's parents also know nothing about his wife's magical abilities. There's also his arrogant boss Anton Rosske and his colleague Brigitte Keil, who, however, has more sense for men than for her job.
