Rich, eccentric widower Rai Bahadur Dr. Durga Das Khanna (Saeed Jaffery) gets a 30-year younger bride (Kirron Kher) to look after his young children and gifts her a priceless diamond necklace.
Now, years later two professional thieves Lizze (Sushmita mukherjee) and her sidekick Junior Gomes (Liliput) land up in their palatial palace Shanti Kunj where Mrs. Khanna has organized a nationwide Mushaira impersonating poets. Much to smooth Lizze's surprise another conman Rambo (Mazhar Khan) is also there to steal the necklace.
Matters go completely out of hand when Mr. Rawat, the ever dutiful estate manager gets to learn that not only these professional thugs but Mr. Khanna's own son Bobby (Ajit Pal)
and his internal auditor Parineeta (Anu Agarwal) are also in the race to steal it.
