Sarajevo during the Second World War. Everyone visits the inn. From partisan illegals from the forest, through Chetniks, Ustashas, soldiers of the Handjar division, all the way to German soldiers and the city commander Štumbafirer Shiling. They hatch conspiracies right in front of each other's noses in which national tensions become less important than personal material interest. The action will be further spiced up by two miners, partisan illegals hidden in the basement, who have the task of digging a tunnel to the German weapons depot.
