The forester's lodge is a place where the family of Katarzyna Ruszczyc moves after the sudden death of her beloved grandfather Antoni, a forester who was shot in mysterious circumstances. Katarzyna, together with her father's house, takes over family secrets from the past. He is faced with the dilemma of whether to cultivate secrets or, on the contrary, to undertake the clarification of unresolved matters.
