Scripted Reality, which accompanies the three-man investigative team consisting of chief inspector Elke Welp and inspectors Alexander Mirkovic and Sonja Lemke in their work in Mainhattan. The treated cases should be based on real events and accompany the officers through the different milieus: the shadows of the impressive skyline, the train station district with its drug ranks and brothels or rich suburbs. The spectrum of crimes ranges from child prostitution to rape and physical harm to manslaughter and murder. The actors received extensive dossiers with the details of their characters during the shooting and are now improvising the dialogues from them. The cases are commented on by Michael Brennicke, known as an off-speaker from “Aktenzeichen XY … unsolved”.
