Low-level FBI agent, Peter Sutherland, works in the basement of the White House manning a phone that never rings--until the night it does--propelling him into a conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office.
One of the binge shows that is only good if you commit to watching the whole thing at once, otherwise you lose a LOT of investment in the characters. Its also really great to see that a toxic codependent relationship seen in the first season is actually called out like that in the second, very nice moments of character growth.
I do feel like the characters are more like real people with flaws and oversights. I think the inclusion of the Iranian supercop is a little ham-fisted, and the way he gets-got without any morally grey somewhat disappointing. Overall low recommend to someone who likes spy stuff and has free time.
