This book is incredible, hilarious, and so very sad. I sobbed on the final page, though I had been saddened (and perked up) all the way through. I read this over the course of a weekend and just couldn't put it down, it is so enthralling and all-consuming. You know that things in the NHs are bad now, you probably knew they were bad then - but you have no idea until you 1) work for the NHS or 2) have read this.
