A great podcast for both economists and people who have no idea what that word means.
Episodes are the perfect length (approx. 20-30 mins each) and the low-key, conversational style and storytelling makes them both easily digestible and enjoyable.
Beyond the strong presentation, topics are (most importantly) also interesting, well-researched/edited, and broad spectrum.
Always interesting and easy-to-digest. Great replay value too, as it's easy to forget little things after a while so I like to revisit episodes after some time and then enjoy learning them all over again. :)
It is pretty much a guarantee when I listen to a 99% Invisible episode that I'll have no prior knowledge of the topic and by the end I'll be intrigued by it and even feel like I somehow now have the authority to speak to the topic.
Personally, 99% Invisible episodes are the perfect length. Majority of the podcasts out there are an hour or longer. I usually have to break each of those up into two or three listening sessions due to my commute and schedule. Most of 99% Invisible episodes are around 20 to 30 minutes. Usually I can finish them in one setting and it's just a much more gratifying experience.
Endlessly fascinating -- the topics span across such a wide range of fields and I'm consistently left curious about these hidden, "invisible" inner-workings of the world.
A wonderful podcast that changes the way you think, feel, and interact with things.
