read this for school. of the two interconnected novels, this was my favorite! perhaps i had a great filipino teacher at the time, and learning about its metaphors in political sense made it a form of entertainment rather than a chore. jose rizal was definitely ahead of his time!

read this for school. can't remember much about it now, but i certainly had fun learning the moral of every fable!
