"So you heard a lot of talk about the new release from Z-Ro. You thought it was going to be titled Heroin. You thought it was coming out in November. You thought Cocaine was a bootleg. Let the truth be told: The new Z-Ro release from Rap-A-Lot is COCAINE and its available NOW!!!" I didn't get around to hearing the two-disc mixtape by the same name, so everything on this album was a first time listen for me and it's another good Z-Ro album. While Crack had some great tracks I didn't feel it was as consistent as some of his previous albums that came before that, I think though that this album returns to the consistency we're used to. If you have heard any other Z-Ro album, this follows pretty much the same path as them. Tracks about haterz, hood life, Z-Ro not trusting friends and so on, and as far as the beats go it's that dark simple southern hip hop we all know from Ro. There are also some odd sample choices that isn't new from Z-Ro such as Air Supply's 'Sweet Dreams' on 'Type of Nigga I Am' and 'Ring My Bell' on 'Bring My Mail'. Overall, there isn't a lot new from Z-Ro but almost everything from the bottom to the top works well and Z-Ro never lets you down on the m.i.c. Best Tracks: One Two, Don't Worry Bout Mine, Type of Nigga I Am, Quarterback Vizion, Doing Just Fine, Haterz Got Me Wrong, Thank You, But, Bring My Mail
