For any massive MJ fan it is difficult to pick an album as your favourite. From 'Off the Wall' they are all great albums each with their own standouts that stand up to this day. 'Dangerous' is no different, and it is my pick from his discography. I think the main reason is because of the new jack swing/hip hop production touches, which are among my genres of choice. 'Gone too Soon' aside, that is a bit slow, every track is a winner and the direction MJ took with this album makes it my favourite. 'Jam' is absolute fire and in my top few Mj songs of all time. It's a much better song than 'Black or White', that, while I still like, I find the guitar riff repetitive and it to be one of his more overrated singles. Some people are way too critical of this album. Most of the production is amazing, including the drums that on songs like the title track are hard as nails, and with Michael's vocals over the top...you can't go wrong.
