I'm a fan of Del as many are but I'm not feeling this free album a huge amount. It reminds me of his last to a degree with one good track then a poor one. The pattern exists on this album particularly early on. However, on the 'Eleventh Hour' the tracks I liked I enjoy more than the songs I do on this. In saying this though, the consistency improves as the album goes on and this album finishes off reasonably. 'Straight from the Big Bad West Coast' is one of the better tracks on the album featuring some real raw rapping from Del that I haven't heard for a while and I think Del's performance is nice throughout the whole album. On the beat side of things, as expected, it features a funky theme throughout the tracks. Many though blend in too much together creating too much of the same sound throughout the thirteen tracks. Also, the sound quality doesn't seem great. I got it with the best quality from Del's site but it sounds ruff too me. It's worth a listen for Del fans who will find something to enjoy but for me there's nothing I like enough to give it a higher rating. Best Tracks: Get It Right Now!, Fit Like a Glove, I'm Smellin' Myself, Simple Satisfaction, Sometimes I Gotta Get Stupid, Straight from the Big Bad West Coast, Land of Funk
