'Don't Quit Your Day Job!' is an underrated and under discussed album as far as '00 great albums go, and it's nice to finally have a proper follow up to it. Why it's taken this long? I don't know either. Perhaps Consequence will let us know as he's promoting the project. Unfortunately this is a very safe album and is not worth the wait or a worthy follow up to the aforementioned album. Cons is fine, but just talks through the bars too often, lacking that energy of some of his best songs, and the production is the same - fine. It surprises me that artists who have been in the game for so long don't take some more risks with their creations. And as I always say with EP length projects like these, if you aren't gonna give us much music, the expectations should be for highly quality. The album begins well, but meanders through for too much of the album. Best Tracks: Can't Give Up, No Apologies
