The only real misstep here is 'It’s Over'. It gives off those awkward late-90s pop-rap Jay-Z vibes and is an easy skip. Honestly, it should’ve been left on the cutting-room floor. The chorus in particular is completely unappealing. 'Sunshine' is the next weakest track, though it’s not nearly as skippable. Beyond that, the album delivers bouncy, funky west coast hip hop from start to finish, with most of the choruses landing nicely. That said, the sound does feel a little same-same, and the project would’ve benefited from more variety in both the beats and the bars.
