Katy Perry has no personality. She shifts identities like chameleons shift colors. That said, she can occasionally be entertaining. Last Friday Night is a good enough party song, and Circle the Drain has some rock elements and an attitude I wish Katy would have more often. Other than that, this is the definition of a standard pop album. Just upbeat and catchy enough to keep people from turning the radio dial, but not interesting enough to make anyone mad. Oh, and Peacock and Hummingbird Heartbeat are juvenile and annoying without the attitude of someone like, say, Kesha to back it up.
