The final story in the original series run smacks of dishy soap-opera intrigue meeting up with the unexplained. A malignant and entitled ex-lover of Kirk steals his soul and proceeds to create a special kind of tension about the ship, pushing them to the point of mutiny and the spurned lover over the edge to full-blown straitjacket status. Sandra Smith in one of the more unsung guest roles of the series.
