Warriors of the Wind, the American edited version of this movie was the first anime I ever saw. Even then, well before knowing how good the actual Nausicaa was, I felt like this was something special. Everything from the now-famous Ghibli art style, the Joe Hisashi music, and the post-apocalypse story makes me feel the warmth of nostalgia.
