A fairly stock standard cop/buddy flick with one strong experienced cop and the other a rookie of sorts. There are some laughs though and Kevin Hart and Cube work alright together. Apart from trying to be comedic, Ramon, the kid Hart stops on the football field from going to drink instead of going to class, seemed to be pointless as it went nowhere at all. The 'racism' that seems okay if coloured actors are doing it is still okay for some reason. One or two scenes went too long and are predictable as well. 2.5-2/5
