If you're here for a period drama set around a rag-tag group of twenty-somethings trying to get a new school variety show off the ground, then you'll probably enjoy it. If you're here because you think you're going to see the sketches brought back to life with new actors ... 1. shame on you, they don't need to be remade. 2. that's not what the point of this movie is. I don't think the story of trying to start SNL is all that unique, but like I kind of imagined, it's interesting because of all the personalities feeding off of each other. They capture that energy pretty well, in my opinion.
