I remember being so blown away when I first heard this song and finding out this girl was only 13 years old when she recorded it. She definitely sounded older and at age 13 was already better than the other females in country music at that time. This was so good and it's what made her a star at such a young age. This is the kind of music that I wish she was still singing. In 2020 she released an album of new age chants. I'm very disappointed in the direction her music has taken. I so wish she'd get back to songs like "Blue".
