Review
‘Come Over’ stands out thanks to its contagious hook, and ‘Dangerous Game’ works well too, with a solid build-up and enough variety to keep things engaging. The album starts off decently overall, but from 'True Colors' onward there’s little to really love. Tracks like ‘Lucky’ drift too far into pop territory, losing the R&B essence that makes their best work shine. It starts strong, falls away in the middle, but redeems itself slightly with a few emotional closing tracks, as is often the case with R&B albums.
