Skrillex

Skrillex is a polarizing artist. Either he's the best dubstep artist ever, or the worst. For me, he's good, but man does he have his low points. His first popular EP, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, is truly a mixed bag. On one hand, I love the original version of the title track and I think All I Ask of You is a nice reprieve from the abrasiveness of this album. On the other hand, the other songs, while they have enjoyable elements, lean a bit too heavily on the chipmunk vocals. That is, except the mediocre hip hop track Scatta. As for the three remixes, they're all worse than the originals. Especially the Kill Everybody remix, which is just annoying with those chipmunk vocals. In fact, those are the main thing that ruined this EP.
