Hunter Stockton Thompson (July 18, 1937 - February 20, 2005). It was a sad day when the Good Doctor removed himself from this mortal coil. Discovering his writings informed me about a number of social and political perspectives I otherwise never would have been exposed to. But then again, it's probably a good thing he's not alive at the present time....
