SPOILERS for this movie and Batman v Superman. I loved it! It was the pinnacle of a good animated movie, in my opinion. I disliked how they dropped the Wonder Woman and Superman romance, especially since they broke up offscreen, but everything else was peak fiction; the drama, Clark's parents, the action, Batman, Cat Grant, Doomsday, Damian's cameo, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, the animation, the music, the editing, and the stakes. Superman effing dies in this movie, and it's so dramatic, sad, traumatic, and impactful. In BvS, SPOILERS for Batman v Superman, Superman also dies and in that movie it was really impactful, sad, traumatic, and dramatic as well, but with this movie I cried when Supes died, and in BvS I got close to crying, but didn't. Not saying this movie is better or handled anything better than BvS, I just wanted to share that. I suggest watching this movie and Reign of the Supermen back to back, or order the extended edition with both movies. I loved this movie and I will be remembering it for some time now. Btw, I also loved BvS. Anyway, I highly recommend all three of those movies.
